“I think restaurant week is so great for Providence. It is such a cool, young and up-and-coming city and it is a fabulous way for people to go out and try different things, in a economical way,” said French.
Sarto Chef Phillip Dushkewich is one of the many chefs bringing you a special menu for this special event.
The Downtown Providence Italian restaurant has a $55 three-course, prix-fixe menu.
It includes an appetizer, entree like a short rib / oxtail ragu, and dessert.
“We have about 50% of our guests come in every night. They say they’re coming specifically for restaurant week which is awesome,” said French.
The event has also expanded past city limits over the years.
